Inspired while attending a memorial service for a member of my ward.  This hymn reflects the knowledge that physical death is a temporary state and our spirits continue to progress for eternity. 

In consideration of the revelations given in the last days.  This is a hymn of comfort for things known and of faith for things unknown.  

 A hymn of comfort and hope.  Set to the hymn tune "O My Father".

"Thinking brightly, moving forward, there is hope to carry on!"  this line was written in tribute to President Gordon B. Hinckley.
